Chiropractors believe in natural treatment that provides hands-on treatments, referred to as adjustments. Those treatments target the spine, and the nerves of the spine. If any of the spinal bones are out of alignment, they can cause pain or a decrease in mobility.
Another common cause of back pain is related to the discs which are located between the vertebrae. Spinal discs are gel-like pads that provide a cushion between the bones of the spine. If the spine is out of alignment, the discs can be damaged. This damage typically comes in the form of a herniated, or slipped, disc and can result in severe back pain.
What to Expect at Your First Visit at Back To Life Chiropractic Centre
To perform a chiropractic adjustment, the chiropractor will place his hands on the client’s back or neck, in order to move the client’s spine back into its natural position. These treatments are sometimes accompanied by placing the client on a special table. The table will add a gravitational advantage to help the bones slip back into their natural alignment.
In addition to back pain treatment, chiropractic treatments can provide neck pain treatment. This section of the spine is called the cervical spine, and when the cervical vertebrae are out of alignment, they cause neck pain and limit neck movement.

Dr. Glen CameronBack to Life's principal chiropractor and co-director of Bondi Junction, Glen provides comprehensive chiropractic care for a diverse range of patients – from athletes to pregnant women to seniors. Glen comes with 20 years of chiropractor experience.
With a passion for sports science, Glen focuses on soft tissue techniques, custom orthotics, and specialized rehabilitation programs to assist his patients with mild to extreme physical conditions.

Dr. Julia VitaliA chiropractor for more than 20 years, Dr. Julia Vitali specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions and disorders relating to the skeletal, nervous, and muscular systems.
Julia believes in a holistic, balanced approach where knowledge and patient empowerment are the keys to good health. As a mother of two, she is passionate about nutrition and family wellness, including pre-natal, pregnancy, post-natal, and pediatric care.
Treatments may include Soft tissue release, adjustments of the joints of the spine and/or extremities, exercise prescription, custom orthotics, lifestyle and nutritional advice.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science from Macquarie University as well as a Masters of Chiropractic and she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2004. It is her goal to help you get 'back to life' and live optimally by correcting the causes of any problem while establishing and maintaining a healthy nervous system.
